This is the story of the greatest rodeo cowboy of all time. Ty was a cowboy from day one. His father broke horses and his mother rode bulls. Ty was riding before he could walk. In 3rd grade, Ty's teacher handed out a questionnaire asking: "If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?" Ty wrote down his answer immediately "beat rodeo legend, Larry Mahan's record by winning seven World All-Around Champion Cowboy titles". This is the story of that dream.

At the age of twenty-one Ty became the youngest cowboy to ever win a World All-Around Champion Cowboy title. Ty took the world of professional rodeo by storm winning six consecutive All-Around World titles. Poised to win his record breaking seventh world title the inevitable happened, Ty became injured.

After being injured for three consecutive rodeo seasons, Ty is returning to the rodeo arena determined to achieve his childhood dream of winning a record breaking 7th All-Around title.

"Ty Murray: King of the Cowboys" is the only film that takes you down the road, on the jet, in the arena and behind the chutes with Ty Murray during his historic, record breaking rodeo season.
